About Washington County Criminal History

Washington County criminal records are split among several custodians. Sheriff reports and jail records begin with the Washington County Sheriff's Office, while circuit case files belong to the Clerk of Circuit Court in West Bend. Wisconsin DOJ's Crime Information Bureau keeps the statewide criminal-history repository, the Wisconsin Department of Corrections maintains correctional records, and the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry provides its public registry layer. This private site organizes those official routes so readers can identify the right portal, counter, or phone line for the record they need.

Why We Built This Site

Wisconsin offers several public and official access paths, but each answers a different question. The Washington County Sheriff's Office keeps its own incident, booking, jail, and warrant-related material. The Washington County Clerk of Circuit Court maintains pleadings, docket entries, judgments, and other case documents. Wisconsin DOJ's Division of Law Enforcement Services, Crime Information Bureau supplies the statewide criminal-history product through WORCS. Separate systems maintained by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry cover correctional and registration information. We bring the verified contacts, request steps, search portals, and published fees for those distinct offices into one Washington County reference.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, not part of a Wisconsin court, police department, sheriff's office, or state agency. Our role has firm limits:

  • We do not issue certified court documents, criminal histories, or other official copies
  • We cannot submit a public-record request, expungement filing, or other document for a reader
  • We do not retrieve a person's criminal record or perform an official background check
  • We cannot interpret a charge, case, or Wisconsin expungement rule as legal advice
  • We cannot promise that an agency's hours, address, phone number, or fee has not changed

An official record must come from its custodian, such as the Washington County sheriff, the circuit clerk, or Wisconsin DOJ CIB. We identify the proper route but cannot issue the document.

Search Partners

Outside providers power search boxes shown on some pages. Each provider controls its service, results, and prices. If use of a tool results in a paid enrollment, this site may receive a referral payment that supports free access to the reference material. We neither set the provider's charges nor control the records returned by its system.
